Silverstone Free Easter Sunday Fun Day
Join us on Easter Sunday at Silverstone Circuit, for a day filled with family fun, entertainment and racing! It's the opening day of the season at Silverstone, and to celebrate, the whole family is invited to make it an Easter Sunday to remember! Plus, there's FREE ENTRY TO ALL
We will also be giving you the chance to win an amazing Silverstone Single Seater Experience on Heart, on Saturday March 19th and Sunday March 20th between 2pm and 4pm! All you have to do is listen out for our montage of three well known car songs. As soon as you know at least two of them, text in, and if we pick you, then you could be a winner. Meanwhile, here are just some of the activities you can get involved in at Silverstone on Sunday. Please note, there may be a charge for some of the activities.
The Heart Angels
Who’s on Heart is the biggest competition on Heart, We’re giving away a life changing £100,000 if YOU can identify the three secret celebrities saying the words… WHO’S – ON – HEART! Heart listener Leticia scooped the £10,000 cash prize by correctly guessing the identity of the first secret celebrity in the UK’s most talked about competition, the second correct guess will win £20,000, and a massive £100,000 is up-for-grabs for naming all three secret celebrities.
To support the on-air competition the Heart Angels will be at Silverstone's family fun day playing our ‘Celebrity Couples’ game! All you have to do is come and test your celebrity knowledge by matching five showbiz couples! Can you get all 5 correct! You can also come and enter our iPad competition to be in with a chance of winning £1,000!
Action Wheels
Action Wheels is a safe, friendly and exciting “Have-A-Go” two wheeled feature aimed at children aged 2 to 12 years old and of all abilities on two wheels, with a 2nd course for older children and adults.
A child friendly Adventure Zone which includes balance beams, see-saws and rumble strips is created for the children to navigate their way around. Action Wheels supply a selection of bikes and safety gear that’s free to use for all ages and abilities.
Electric Go-Karts
The London Karting company will be at Silverstone with their fleet of electric F1 themed karts.
Electric Karts provide children with the opportunity to test their skills as a Formula 1 driver in the F1 karts with changeable speeds between 4-10mph. Karts can be remotely stopped by staff to ensure a safe an enjoyable experience for all.
Hovercraft
Float on a cushion of air with our amazing Hovercraft. Piloting requires skill, tenacity and a great sense of balance to manoeuvre the unwieldy craft around a set course.
Each Hovercraft comes with a professional instructor with many years of experience working with these magnificent vehicles. The instructor will first initially show you how to use the Hovercraft and then teach the basic controls whilst asking the participant to complete various tasks such as 360 spins, cornering plus much more. It is then down for you to show off your newly acquired skills!
Titan The Robot
One of the most in demand acts currently operating in the world today. This show is a unique blend of comedy, street theatre and music creating a fantastic show that is unrivalled!
Funny, fast paced and full of surprises - Titan the Robot is the ultimate family-entertainment show!
Tony's Reptile Show
Tony's Reptile Show comes to Silverstone! There will be a wide range of different animals that on show and as well as fact sheets on the reptiles to show you where they live and how to care for them.
All these animals are tame and can be handled making it a very hands on experience for kids and parents alike. The show will last between 1 to 2 hours and there will also be snake skins on display.
Easter Egg Hunt
We're just waiting for details to be finalised, but Silverstone will be hosting an Easter Egg Hunt and Easter themed games for children (and adults)!
4 F1 Seats
Linked Racing Seats offer a chance for participants to line up on the start grid and race against 3 other friends or colleagues - expect a high level of competitiveness from all ages. The F1 Seats are specifically designed and with integrated sound and hardware.
They have the best Fanatec Wheels and Pedals, a 42” display together with an F1 endorsed seat to ensure a lifelike experience. (The Events House).

Meltdown
Imported especially all the way from America, Meltdown is turning heads all the time! With up to 8 players competing at one time, contestants jump or duck the rotating beam whilst remaining on their podium.
The longer the game goes on, the harder the competition gets as the speed begins to increase! Minimum 1.1m height restrictions apply, (AR Entertainments).
Rookie Drive
Learn the basics of driving a car with our qualified instructors. No need for a provisional driving license, this will give you a great start to your future of driving. Suitable for children aged 13-15 years old.
Pit Stop Tyre Change
In small teams or individuals, participants are put to the test as they attempt to change the wheels on our half Pit stop car in the fastest time possible.
With original F1 wheels, Pirelli tyres and batter powered guns, this is definitely something on the to-do list! (The Events House).
Penalty Shootout
At over 9m wide, this is one of the largest inflatable penalty shootout goals around!.
Take it turns to be the strikers shooting at the goals or stand on the inflatable front and be a goalkeeper. The aim is to try to score through the holes and see who can score the most points! (AR Entertainments).
Rookie Ride
Silverstone Rookie Ride taster sessions are the perfect introduction to two wheels for ages 11 years and upwards and will last last for approximately 20 minutes.
The rider is introduced to the controls of the 50cc scooter before learning how to pull away and stop safely, before learning to negotiate a series of cones.
Speed Test
Discover the power of your strike as you shoot into the inflatable tunnel. A digital display gives you an accurate result of just how powerful you are!
Fancy yourself as a bit of a pro? Additional feature of Beat the Goalie combines power with accuracy as you try to score through the targets. (AR Entertainments).
Free Fall
A BRAND NEW concept! Climb the steps up to the top before taking a 'leap of faith' from over 14ft onto the inflatable stunt mattress or 'chicken run' down the special coated slide for extra speed. (AR Entertainments).

Mini Tour of Silverstone
During a guided trip around Silverstone Circuit, you will see unique behind the scenes views of the circuit that was first used in 1948, with plenty of photo opportunities as well!
Giant Scalextric
This Giant Scalextric has been designed specifically for racing! The track comes with colour coded tracks, cars and controllers to enable participants to monitor the progress of their cars - adding to the competitiveness.
The track is computer controlled, keeping records of lap times, race winners and championship points. Who will finish on the podium? (The Events House.)

Professional Balloon Modellers will be walking around and mingling with fans giving out balloon hats, animals and other balloon requests!
Walkabout Magician
We'll have a wandering magician who will mix and mingle with fans alike and perform world class magic up close, as seen on TV!

A family favourite for years! Professionally made 9-hole crazy golf is fantastic for all ages and has a different brightly coloured obstacles on each hole.
